Mother's Day 2010

This year we had a quite Mother's Day at home, since I have not been feeling too great. My parents came down which was really nice. We got to grill out on the new patio and eat on my new patio furniture. I could not have asked for more we had a wonderful time.

Fist Haircut

Today Stuart had his first haircut. He was in a wonderful mood, even though he had been at the hospital getting blood drawn for allergy testing.

Handsome Boy!

Thank you Amy for always taking care of my family and friends!

It has finally started raining. The only problem is there is no middle ground. It is either a drought or flash floods. We had a horrible thunder storm Saturday night and there was lots of lightning, we got 5 1/4 inches.

Horray for ZERO

Stuart was 4 months old on Sat.

Uncle Charlie decided we should celebrate zero.
So, we did.

He is getting to be such a big boy, he has eyes like his sister and dad.
Yummy Cake!

Of course Maddie did a great job blowing out the candle.

Quilt of Love

My uncle Jerry found some quilted fabric in my paternal grandmother's cedar robe. He knew that his mother sewed, so naturally the squares were hers. He had two quilts made one for a girl and one for a boy. My cousin Matt had a daughter not long ago, so Annie got the girl's and Jerry had the boy's made for Stuart.

The lady that did the quilting said that she had not seen this type of quilting in about 50 years, so it confirmed Stuart's Great Grandmother made the quilt squares. I think it is amazing and wonderful to have such an heirloom. It gives me chills.

Thank you Uncle Jerry!
