Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Why is that my daughter will only eat the four food groups?

Chicken Nuggets

Macaroni & Cheese

Peanut Butter & Jelly

Pizza
Will she suffer malnutrition?
The doc said probably not, but I am desperate for something new. I asked Maddie what she would like for dinner and I did not get the usual response.

"Chocolate Pancakes"
Shocked, I went to work!
I know, not any better than what I have been giving her!
Just Different!

I made all sorts of shapes for her!
She loved them
She cleaned her plate and asked for Strawberries.

With whipped cream of course!

Potty Training for Dummies

So we read several books, did research online and we finally got it!
The trick?
Give her a ring pop and tell her she had to eat it on the potty!

It worked!
Success on two counts!

Did I mention don't give your child a blue ring pop!

It took 3 days to scrub it off her lips.

The Quadrantid Meteor Shower

The Quadrantid meteor shower is one of the year's best, producing more than 100 meteors per hour from a radiant near the North Star. This year the shower peaks on Jan. 3rd. The timing favors observers in western North America and Across the Pacific Ocean. The best time to look: during the dark hours before sunrise on Saturday morning.

Good Luck!

Did you eat yours?

Happy New Year!

New Store

As many of you know we have been busy opening the new store. I am very excited for the opportunities it brings San Antonio Jewelry this year.
I think it will be an exciting year for us all. Here are some shots of everyone working really hard. We had some really long days, but you can see it really paid off.

December 30th, the doors were just painted.

Amy and Coriann in Jaime's new office.
Javier and Jessica unpacking
Holly, Ezra, Jennifer & Chelsey getting the elements ready.

We will see you Jan 2, 2009.

Christmas Day

My parents came up for Christmas, we had a great time together. We had fun opening presents and spending time together.
As part of Papa's Christmas present we made him a mile high apple pie.
As always we open presents for hours.
Papa always plays santa.

Maddie always plays the angel.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
